Matthew 2 vs 9 to 11{KJV}

9.:When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

10:When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

11:And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

  Last time we saw that Herod told they wise men to go and find out where the child was born. Haven confirmed from the scriptures that Bethlehem was the place according to Micah prophecies. He told them to be sure to return to him so that he also will go and worship the child. But it was a lie. Herod was not interested in worshipping that king that was born, instead he was hatching an evil plot to destroy him.

   Little did Herod know that he was dealing with He who created but was not created. Little did he know that he was dealing with He who is older than age. Herod did not understand that the king that was born is the mystery of eternity. He didn't know that the very person he was plotting to kill is the life and resurrection, the aloha and the omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end yet He has no beginning and he has no end.

   Right where you are now, if your connection is sure with Jesus, if your relationship with Jesus is intact, if Jesus has been enthroned in your heart, if indeed you are looking unto Him as the author and finisher of your faith. Then you have got nothing to worry about. Yes! The Herod of our time cannot stop you no matter how the try, no matter how the rise , no matter how the shout, no matter how the plan, for whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcometh the world even our faith. So the moment they wise men left Herod, on their way to Bethlehem. The star they saw in the East showed up again. The star went ahead of them, giving them direction until it came and stood over the place that the young child was. Yes! God was sure to order their steps. Oh! What a joy, when the saw the star again.

  According to verse 10 "When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy." That star appeared to give them a reconnection to devine direction. They disconnected with a limited King (that is) Herod and they reconnected with the unlimited king. They disconnected with Herod whose kingdom was temporarily and they reconnected with He whose kingdom is eternal. The moment they disconnected with Herod the star showed up, divine direction popped up because the secrets of the Lord are to them that fear him.

    Right where you are today, reading this message, but you are in confused junction this moment, you lack spiritual direction right now, you do not know where to face right now, you are almost swallowed up by frustration. My dear, you need to disconnect in order to reconnect. Disconnect from every Herod in your life so that you can reconnect to divine direction. Disconnect from the principles of Herod no matter how fanciful, so that you can reconnect to divine revelation. Disconnect from the council of the ungodly, from the way of sinners, from the seat of the scornful so that you can be reconnected with the divine revelation.

   They wise men left king Herod and the moment they did, the star of direction appeared unto them again and went ahead of them till the got to the house where the baby king was and stood there. Oh! What a joy to see the child. What a privilege to see the child. What a sense of fulfillment the had to see the king one on one. What a joy to see the king of kings whose name is wonderful, councilor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace. Verse 11 puts it this way "And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: ". Listen they saw the young child with Mary the mother and they fell down and worshipped him and not the mother. Hope you read that very well, they worshipped the child and not the mother. That was exactly what they told Herod in verse 2, "we have come to worship Him" and they meant it, they were really out to worship Him. Their long journey all the way form the East is not for sightseeing. The risk they took as the journey through the harsh weather was not to come and catch fun in Judah but to worship the king of Glory. There was nothing else that their hearts desire if not to worship this king. There was no recognition by any earthly king that satisfied them if not to worship the king of kings. Herod said he was going to worship Him but his heart was far from what his mouth said. Many people like Herod said they want to worship Him but their hearts do not agree with what their mouth are saying...
